1. Map
Drawing a map while playing makes navigation much easier.

2. Items
There are three types of items:
a) lighters
  They protect you from darkness threats.
b) knifes
  They protect you from 'the thing'.
c) readables
  They give you hints on hidden things.

3. Optimal strategy
Move as much as possible in order to reveal the map.
In every room, examine a few things in order to gather items.
There are four different endings.
Readables lead to best items and discoveries.
