Then, just when I was feeling better tried to get up, a group of them were chasing after me! Crowley nodded, clicking his beak to get our attention. It looked like they were looking for Noodle. It was that group that comes every morning with their rollable nests that they do strange movements on. Noodle made a sad, low rattling sound and we all dove down to get her back. So long as Noodle stayed quiet, she would be fine. I took the lead to sit on some branches above and warn the unfeathered. After some talking, the unfeathered left. The murder felt a sense of relief. The unfeathered looked up and seemed scared. After some talking, the unfeathered stayed. The tall one spotted Noodle. Oh no. Crowley dives down to get at the unfeathered, but they avoid him. The murder croaks down angrily at the unfeathered. They're taking Noodle! Somehow, the taller unfeathered had Noodle wrapped in a cloth. Noodle made a sad, low rattling sound and we all dove down to get her back. After several moments of silence, there was a collective agreement. We needed to move out. The murder warns the unfeathered against coming into the clearing any further too. As we wait, the unfeathered hesitate, looking around. Crowley shuffles in his bush, spooking the unfeathered. Good idea Crowley! I wait for the murder to croak warnings again and make my bush rustle. That was enough to get them to run away. Crowley puffs his chest out and comes out from the bush, hopping about happily. The murder seems to relax too. Noodle's safe, for now... I move throw the bushes, attempting to make as much noise as possible. At least that'll keep them away from Noodle! The taller of the two thrashes some of the bushes, spooking Noodle. Noodle woodle, hide like a kite! Crowley dives again, but the unfeathered spotted Noodle. Before we could react, the tall unfeathered throws a cloth over Noodle. Leave Noodle alone! Go away! The unfeathered very quickly wraps Noodle into a bundle. [[Watch them]] [[Get them!!]]](Set: $MurderDynamics -= 3) Crowley flies out of the tree roots and makes his way to Noodle. Two unfeathered appear in the clearing and spot Noodle and Crowley. The shorter of the unfeathered points at Noodle and the larger one begins to approach Noodle slowly. I stay rooted in place and watch as Crowley and the murder fly down to get the unfeathered away. Stay away! Leave Noodle alone! Noodle attempts to fly away, and I watch as a cloth is thrown over Noodle. The unfeathered then very gently wraps Noodle in the cloth. (if: $PennySister is true)[You watch the unfeathered for a moment longer and hear the shorter unfeathered with red fur croak. As you focus on her croak, you realise she's imitating Penny. [[Stop the murder]]] [[Watch them]] [[Get them!!]]Once the taller unfeathered had Noodle, he pet Noodle to soothe her. Crowley bristled at the gesture and made sure the unfeathered knew. The taller one seemed to understand and very carefully indicated to Noodle's wing. Were they from the sad place? Or were they taking Noodle away and lying to us...? [[Get them!!]] [[Follow them]]As soon as I said get them, the mood of the murder changed. We were all ready to get these two unfeathered away from Noodle. No one hurt one of our own. The tall unfeathered shielded their face and Noodle and started to run. Don't let them get away! Get Noodle woodle away from them! Give Noodle back! Crowley managed to injure the tall unfeathered who dropped a Noodle bundle. Noodle! We all gathered round the quiet bundle, only to realise there was no Noodle in it. The other half dove towards the smaller of the unfeathereds. The smaller one made a sound that got the taller one's attention. Crowley managed to grab the cloth Noodle was wrapped in. In the confusion, Crowley got Noodle free, while the tall unfeathered raced to protect the smaller one. We drove them away. Noodle was safe, for now. The smaller unfeathered then takes out some peanuts, placing it in a pile on a bowl on the ground, then stepping away. Penny did the same. Penny wenny? But not Penny wenny. Tricky tricky. Nox croaked. The murder felt unsettled. Crowley rasped at the taller unfeathered, who made every effort to show that Noodle was unharmed and... fine. In fact, Noodle seemed... content? Keeping an eye on the woofer, I flew to the ground just in range of the woofer. It watched me, then the murder and panted. Curiosity got the better of me and I hopped closer. It makes a whining sound, till I move to sit on its leg. Ally! ALLY! Good woofer! The murder didn't copy me then. So why did the woofer attack? [[Set the sprinklers off]] [[Look around]]Tricky tricky woofer goofer Nox croaked. The murder agreed. I watched the woofer. But it just stayed there and cocked its head at me. As we stared each other down, the woofer put its head down. This was unusual for a woofer. I hopped closer, with caution. The woofer perked one ear up, tail thumping the ground. I squared up against the woofer and it did nothing. [[The woofer is friendly!!]] [[Look around]] Mayber the woofer doesn't like the sprayers. I hop through the garden and the sprayers start to go off. The murder wtaches the woofers, calling out what it was upto as I hopped across. Nothing? Maybe Wiggles and Peep mistook this woofer for a different one? Peep might have, but not Wiggles. Hm... The woofer perked up just then, head to the house. Was an unfeathered in? We stopped when it whined and then continued. Just as we heard some movement in the house, the woofer bolted up. Nox was thrown off and I clung to the woofer's collar. The woofer made a low whining sound then, while facing the house before it woofed. Nox flew to the wall and I joined her a moment later as the woofer started barking at us. A small unfeathered stepped out to watch us before running back in. The woofer looked to the house, before looking back at us. The barks grew louder and it made a low rumble in its chest. The taller unfeathered seemed to guard Noodle, and the smaller on opened an umbrella. As Nox dove down, the smaller unfeathered raised the umbrella, protecting the taller one. Nox dodged the umbrella and squawked angrily. Give Noodle doodle back! She's not your friend! Cinder flew to back up Nox, but it didn't seem to deter them. The made their way to the box area. [[Continue to follow them]] The unfeathered get in and set off, leaving the glass open for us. Our focus is on Noodle. Noodle makes no sound in discomfort. Crowley is not happy. As the unfeathered set off, we follow after them. We flew further than we wanted to... But this was for Noodle. And it did feel from the pace of their movement, that the unfeathered wanted us to follow. We were cautious as they arrived at another box area. [[Arrive at scary place<-Follow them to the destination]]They slowly stepped out the box and looked for us. The smaller one seemed more adept at it, and pointed us out to the taller one. The murder croaked at them. Where are you taking Noodle? Yeah, give Noodle back! The smaller one imitated Penny's call again. The murder kept silent. As the murder chattered about which areas to scout, and the anger faded, we realised where we were. They brought Noodle to the scary place. Wiggles assisted Nox and clawed at the umbrella as they started to move away from us. Give Noodle back!! Our protests went unheard as they huddled towards the big building. Everyone quiet!]] [[Penny!]]I flew around the big nest, landing where I could see in. Some unfeathereds screamed when I tapped on the glass. Yes, FEAR ME! I tittered as I raised my wings and watched an unfeathered fall over. A green one came in just then and I flew away before they could spot me. I repeated this process a few more times, but couldn't find Penny. The area was peaceful, no unfeathereds were crying. A lot of them looked tired and sick though. As I flew from tree to tree, I spotted an unfeathered with red fur. Penny did have red fur... but it might not be Penny. All of us waited to make sure other unfeathereds weren't around. And also hoped the green unfeathered wouldn't be back soon. The coast seemed... clear. [[Give Penny a warm greeting]] [[Observe Penny]]I watched as the murder let Penny know we were here. Before taking off, I made sure to check for any other unfeathereds. The murder waited as I flew over Penny, circling round to make sure the coast was clear. I then flew over to Penny. Penny didn't move, as they were focused on Peep and Wiggles. I gently tapped their head with my wing as I circled round. Peep and Wiggles flew back with me just then. The murder warned us about the green unfeathereds making their way to Penny. It looked like they were taking Penny away. [[Follow Penny]]The murder flew over, as I circled above, keeping watch. Penny sounded happy and surprised as Peep and Wiggles asked what happened. With some teamwork from the murder, we managed to locate Penny in the nest! After Penny was settled into their little nest, and was alone, Penny looked sad. Possibly trinkets, for Penny. The murder waits patiently and you notice another set of unfeathered come in. A taller and smaller one. The smaller one has red fur like Penny. You spread your wings out and do a little dance, hopping and twirling. Penny looks happy as you finish. The murder squawks and flies behind you, posing mid air before gliding back to safety. Before Penny can come to the glass, there's a knock. Other unfeathered come in to greet Penny. I tap the glass and Penny looks around. A couple more taps and she spots me and the murder in the tree behind. Penny! Penny wenny! Peep! The murder called out to Penny, and Penny smiled. I hopped from foot to foot happily as Penny laughed. She looked around for a moment before slowly getting out of bed. I waited as she walked over to the glass and opened it. Hi Penny! Penny gently ruffled my head, blowing on on. Penny's happy to see us! The murder chattered happily. After a bit, a green unfeathered started to come in. The murder quieted down immediately as we hid in the shade of the tree. Penny was put back into the nest. We hovered outside, unsure about what to do next. Few unfeathereds come in and out. The scary place was strange. Few of us had been here before, and none of us liked it. Only once did they help Raven... That was a scary time. Not much had changed since. The building was still the same size, though it looked grubby. We spotted lots of woofers and cats and other birds. It seemed... calmer, the scary place. We eventually do spot Noodle again, looking sleepier than usual. An unfeathered carries Noodle round and we flit from glass to glass keeping track of her. It didn't look like Noodle had any of those white things on her, that the unfeathereds are fond of. But what should we do in the meantime? Eventually, we did spot them as they left the building. That felt... quick? Hm, maybe we should check on Noodle... Peep peep peep? I think Noodle will be fine... The murder peered in through the glass. The unfeathered had noticed us following Noodle and placed noodle where we could see her. The unfeathered COULD be nice, but it was better to assume most of them weren't. Now that Noodle's safe, we can look into other things! The murder still wasn't sure what happened to Penny, but we'll leave that for another day. Today's already been a pretty long day... its time to go back to the nest and rest. Noodle almost immediately flew out and landed badly in the grass. Before the unfeathered could get to Noodle, Crowley squawked angrily and helped Noodle up. The murder rejoined with a clumsy Noodle and concerned Crowley. I kept an eye on the unfeathered who seemed hesitatnt to leave. Noodle woodle! Nox croaked happily. Noodle! Peep peep! Noodle flew to the murder, in the shade of the trees. The unfeathered seemed relieved and made their way back to the scary place. Noodle doodle got fix-y dixy! Nox sang All well that ends well. Its been a long day however, and with all the adventure we've had, it's time to went back to nest. We needed our rest and could sort the rest of the mysteries another day. Wiggles wiggled and threw water and me and Peep. We splashed each other till we were tired. Peep peep! yeah, we had our fun. Let's shake the water off our feathers and head back to the gang. Nox was on a tree above a greasy looking unfeathered on a bench. A bulky unfeathered was walking towards the bench. The greasy unfeathered looked up at the bulky unfeathered. As the bulky unfeathered walked past, Nox whistled. The way unfeathereds do with their mating calls. The bulky unfeathered pauses and turns to the greasy one. They look to each other for a moment. The bulky unfeathered does a little dance, moving their torso forward and back, only to fidn that the greasy unfeathered ran away screaming. We burst out laughing as the bulky unfeathered started chasing after the greasy one. Only you would do this Nox! Nox rattled with laughter clearly pleased as she landed on the tree branch and postured. Alright, that's enoguh fun, we're on a mission. Raven waited for the next gust, hopping into the air in time with the wind. She went up as I watched, before diving down spreading her wings just before she touched the ground. Wheeeeeee! I bopped on my feet as she rose up again, landing beside me effortlessly thanks to the wind. My turn! We took turns for a while, diving and doing barrel rolls till the wind died out.
